World's Best High Jumpers Headed to Monaco on July 18Published by
Mission: World Record for High Jumpers in MonacoPublished by the IAAF on May 28, 2014 After the opening leg of the 2014 IAAF Diamond League in Doha, which produced the world-leading high jump mark of 2.41m, Herculis Monaco is proud to announce that the main protagonists of the event will be at Louis II Stadium on 18 July. Ukraine’s world champion Bohdan Bondarenko will face his main rivals, including Russia’s Olympic champion Ivan Ukhov, world indoor champion Mutaz Essa Barshim and Commonwealth record-holder Derek Drouin. All of them have jumped 2.40m or higher in the past 12 months. USA’s Olympic silver medallist Erik Kynard – the man widely tipped to become the next member of the 2.40m club – is also in the field.
