Schippers to Run 100m in Monaco and Will Have Records in MindPublished by IAAF Diamond League on June 13, 2016 Reigning European 100m champion and the IAAF World Championships Beijing 2015 100m silver medallist Dafne Schippers will run that distance at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Monaco on Friday 15 July, the Herculis 2016 meeting organisers announced on Monday (13). The Dutch sprinter established an IAAF Diamond League 200m record of 21.93 in Oslo last Thursday and the Monaco organisers hope that the 2015 200m world champion will be in record breaking form again next month, immediately after defending her European 100m title on home soil in Amsterdam. Schippers could step on Stade Louis II track with the current Diamond League 100m record in mind, the standard being 10.70 set by Carmelita Jeter in Eugene back in 2011.
